A linear regresion is an approach to stimate the lineal relationship between two type of variables, a response varible `Y` and other or others explanatory varables `Xi`. This is the most used model and it is a fundamental technic to analyze data.

In contrast with inferential statistics, with descriptive statistics, we do not draw conclusions beyond the data we have neither do we reach any conclusion regarding hypotheses we may make.
